Pain
Photos can capture emotions felt by both the models and the photographer. In the Pain series, Alex is showcasing the emotions felt by queer college students. During this time queer and POC students were being attacked on campus for simply expressing their identities.
Coming Out Day 21”
October 11th is National Coming Out Day. To celebrate Alex set up a love themes photoshoot for their friends to express their queerness in a safe and judgement-free environment.
Happiness
This series is the sister series to Pain. The Happiness series is meant to show the joy of being queer and how they express themselves as queer individuals. Though they face hardships on campus, they continue to persevere and allow no one to dim their light.
Queer Club scene
This series is a showcase of club photography, specifically gay clubs. This series looks at the vibrant culture that is queer night life
